Sweet and Sour Cucumbers

INGREDIENTS

8 c Sliced cucumbers
2 c Sliced onions
1 tb Salt
1 1/2 c Vinegar
2 ts Celery seed
2 ts Mustard seed
2 c Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

LIQUID
This is from the back of a vinegar jar - Heinz, I think.
Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and onions.  Let stand 1 hour.  Drain.
Mix liquid ingredients together and pour over cucumbers.  Refrigerate 24
hours.
(This was a big hit when I took it to a friend's house at Rosh Hashanah
time)
