Sweet Balsamic And Red Onion Marinade

INGREDIENTS

2 T Finely chopped red onion
1 t Sugar
1/2 t Dry mustard
1/4 t Salt
1/8 t Pepper
3 T Balsamic vinegar
2 T Water
1 T Vegetable or walnut oil

INSTRUCTIONS

In small bowl, combine all ingredients. With wire whisk, beat until
smooth and sugar is dissolved. Pour mixture over slightly steamed and
cooled asparagus spears, or sliced fresh tomatoes or cucumbers. Let
stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to marinate before serving.
