Sweet Potato Daisy Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

3 c Bisquick original baking mix
1/2 ts Grated orange peel
1 pk (3-oz) cream cheese; cubed and chilled
1/2 c Mashed cooked sweet potatoes
1/2 c Milk
2 tb Orange marmalade

INSTRUCTIONS

HEAT oven to 450 degrees. Mix baking mix and orange peel. Cut in cream
cheese until mixture resembles coarse meal.  Stir in sweet potatoes and
milk just until dry ingredients are moistened.
TURN dough onto surface dusted with baking mix; gently roll in baking mix
to coat. Shape into ball; knead 4 or 5 times. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut with
2-inch round cutter dipped in baking mix. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased
cookie sheet.
MAKE six 1/2-inch cuts around edge of each biscuit to form petals, using
sharp knife dipped in baking mix (cut completely through edge). Make
indentation in center of each biscuit with thumb.  Fill indentation with
1/4 teaspoon marmalade. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. About
20    biscuits.
