Swiss Apple Pudding

INGREDIENTS

4 Apples
1 c Flour
1 c Sugar
3/4 ts Baking powder
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Ginger
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/8 ts Cloves; ground
1 Egg
1/4 c Butter or margarine
1/2 c Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Recipe by: Sue Klapper Preparation Time: 0:40 Preheat oven to 350. Peel,
core and slice apples. Distribute apple slices evenly in pan. Combine
flour, sugar, baking powder and spices. Add egg and mix until crumbly.
Cover apples with flour mixture.  Dot with butter and sprinkle with 1/2 cup
water.  Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender and top is
golden brown.  Serve warm with vanilla or cinnamon ice cream, or whipped
