INGREDIENTS

1 c Brown sugar
1/2 c Butter or margarine
4 Eggs; well beaten
4 oz Bourbon
3 ts Baking soda; dissolved in
. 3 Tbsp milk
1 lb Pecans; shelled
1/2 lb Raisins
1 lb Candied cherries; cut in 1/2
1 lb Candied pineapple
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Nutmeg
ds Salt
3 1/2 c Flour; sifted

INSTRUCTIONS

Cream the margarine and sugar.  Add the eggs, bourbon and milk mixture. Add
all the remaining ingredients.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees
until brown as desired, about 30 to 40 minutes.
These cookies keep particularly well when stored in an airtight container.
Nutritional analysis per cookie: 94 calories, 4g fat, 14g carbohydrates,
8mg cholesterol, 40mg sodium, 39 percent of calories from fat.
