Tu B’shevat Fruitcake

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Brown sugar
3/4 c Sifted flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
2 Eggs
1 c Dried fruit
1 c Mixed nuts: Almonds, Walnuts, Pecans, etc (peanuts not recommended)

INSTRUCTIONS

Here's a recipe I found on the Virtual Jerusalem www page on the Tu
B'Shevat link. The recipe is credited to MILAH, Ulpan Yerushalayim. Baking
time and specific types of dried fruit were not listed.
Mix it all. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven
until brown. Stick a toothpick in center to check. If it comes out clean,
your cake is cake.
