Vegetarian Rice And Beans (tabasco)

INGREDIENTS

4 c Water
2 Vegetable bouillon cubes or
2 teaspoons instant broth
granules
2 c Raw brown rice
1 Red kidney beans, rinsed and
drained
1 Onion, chopped
1 Green bell pepper, chopped
1 Jar Original or Spicy
TABASCO® 7 Spice Chili
Recipe 16 ounces
1 t Ground cumin

INSTRUCTIONS

Put water and bouillon cubes in 4-quart heavy-gauge saucepan with lid.
Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in rice. Return to a boil; add
remaining ingredients. Return mixture to a boil; reduce heat to low if
cooking over campfire, move to side. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or
until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes
