Wild Rice And Mushrooms

INGREDIENTS

1 c Uncooked wild rice
4 oz Mushrooms, sliced 1 1/2 c.
2 Green onions, thinly sliced
2 T Butter
2 1/4 c Water
1/4 c Dry white wine
1 t Salt
1/4 t Pepper
1 c Shredded Monterey Jack
cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

Cook and stir rice, mushroom and onions in butter in 10" skillet over
med heat until onions are tender, about 5 min. Stir in water, wine,
salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer until tender, about 40-45 min.; drain if necessary.
