Zippy Honey-Roasted Peanuts

Grains Jewish 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 Jar (12-oz) unsalted dry roasted peanuts
1/3 c Honey
1 1/2 tb Peanut oil
1/4 ts Chili powder
1 pn Salt
1/4 ts Grated orange peel -or-
1/4 ts Cinnamon and nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS

From The Jewish Star (Central NJ Jewish Newspaper)
Combine all ingredients in a one quart microwave-safe bowl and cook on high
for 2 minutes. Stir. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Pour mixture onto
a greased baking sheet to cool. Serve as an hors d'oeuvre or dessert.
Warning: when cooled, it sticks to whatever it's on/in. Be prepared to do
the only type of prying appropriate for Rosh Hashana :-)
