Hello friends, I was greatly engouraged that all these good teaching is available also in web. J.A.–Finland

Whoa! Finally after four months of seeking for a book by Charles Finney’s book on Lectures to Professing Chrisian (a treasure to addtion to my library and for my generation to read to warn themselves and others) and found it right on your website… After a day long thinking after reading Finney’s works on the web, It burns in my heart that I want to know and learn of what Charles Finney had studied and learned. –R.K.

Hey folks, It was Finney who preached to me in sept ’96 (True and False Repentance) out of an old used book that got me saved ( I mean really saved) and every time I see somone who takes the time to make His material so readily available truly blesses me. You guys do God and his church a great service. I pray the fire of the Holy Ghost continues to consume you and may He burn our country to the ground in revival Thanks Again–BP

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ..I have been reading a biography on Charles Finney and have wanted to read some of his sermons. I want to glean from him……..and now, thanks to you, I can. God Bless, Deborah

I just found your website! Oh, this is great! Thank you for creating it. I was saved through my dad reading Finney’s autobio to me when I was 12, and consider the Lord’s work through him my standard and joy. I’m really looking forward to reading as much of the works you’ve listed as possible.–N S

I wanted to thank you for the materials you have on your website. They are very encouraging. They give Bible truths that I “know” but don’t hear preached and that are confused in most church-going people’s minds. The requirement to faithfully obey God has become a suggestion in most churches and, being a suggestion, people have not been obeying consistently. If God doesn’t care whether or not Christians obey Him once they become Christians then motivation for living in victory is dampened. If churches were teaching that God requires obedience to the light we have and will hold us accountable for our responses, living victoriously and fulfilling God’s purposes for our lives would become the norm for Christians and not the exception. What a deception the church has been under! Please keep on with your website and don’t let it die.–JN

Cool site on Finney, I can’t wait to read it.–Brad

Great site on finney. I have long be a student of finney’s works. Thanks for all your hard work in creating this site.–Rev MC

Your site is outstanding. Really appreciate the work you put into it. I am benefitting from the messages.–John

Thank you …… thank you….. thank you!—I have waited for a long time for someone to put Finney’s sermons from the Oberlin Evangelist online. You don’t know how much it means to me that they are finally accessible. I really mean that. Thank you very much.–J S

Excellent material. Keep us the good Job. God bless you.–Luther S

I would like to thank who ever posted Charles Finney’s, The Backslider In Heart.–For years now as I would endeaver to draw near to God, for months things would go well, then all of a sudden everything would fall apart. I can see now that God was pulling the rug out from under me. He wasn’t about to let me get to close until I understood what he seen in my heart…what once was there but now is a vivid memory. He wanted me to see just how far I had backsliden. Now I understand what has been wrong all these years, and I accept it, as from the hand of God. I can not go any further until things are right in His sight and not my own. Again, thank you–Eileen

Am enjoying/agreeing with these ideas on OS.Must inquire(curious)– what “denomination”, if any, you people are associated with? You sound rather like “Church of Christ”(Thomas/Alexander Campbell). I am an Eastern Orthodox from Protestantism and find your views and Finney’s rather close to those of the Eastern Fathers.Augustinian views on sin were rejected by the historic Eastern Church a millenia and a half before the birth of Campbells,Finney etc. Regards,In Christ. –Bob S

Hi, Just a comment about your web page Your belief from what I have read is that Revival is all about repentance and confession of sin. You say revival hasn’t come yet, if that is true what about the Toronto Blessing,Brownsville Revival, Argentina Revival etc. Are they not of God? If it wasn’t for the Toronto Blessing I would probally be out in the World but God revived me and is shaping me into his image. Why all the talk about Charles Finney? I know he was used by God to do awesome things but there is other people that spred revival, wigglesworth, etc. Do you believe in the Fathers love because most of what I read here is turn or burn, God can bless you and love on you in True Revival, if you dont agree look at Jesus life, he loved the sinner and had grace for them, and also what about signs and wonders and healing. Im not putting you guys down, I do believe we have to live holy lives before God and yes he does convict us of sin, with me alot but what about love and acceptance? I believe all of these things will bring true revival and will shake nations! M.R.

Hello. Who wrote this little diatribe? I would say it was male, between the ages of 45 and 65, black and poorly educated. What a total unmitigated failure of a human being. Please instruct the said person to administer a boiling suphuric acid enema. Thank You –Jeremy.
