We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

A man can preach the word, but still the word is not in him. It has not yet become interior to him, experientialized to him, a part of him. Such preaching is mere wind. True preaching is brewed within, as the gospel enters into a man, floods his awareness, rearranges his own interiority, and surges out of him as something divine and yet still his own.

In His coming the “last day”’ to which the Old Testament looked forward arrived, but they have not yet run their course; the Christian church is still living in this eschaton. Jesus’ first coming inaugurated it; His second coming will consummate it. The coming of Jesus was, therefore, the beginning of the end.

INGREDIENTS

3 tb Fresh lime juice
2 tb Soy sauce
1 tb Minced garlic
1 tb Minced ginger
4 Tuna steaks

INSTRUCTIONS

Recipe comes from The Best of Sunset Low-fat Cookbook
Wash tuna steaks and pat dry. Place in glass casserole. Mix marinade
ingredients in a separate bowl. Pour over steaks. Marinate in refrigerator
for at least 1 hour and as long as 1 day.
Heat grill. Place rack 4-6 inches from hot coals. Spray grill rack so fish
will not stick. Place steaks on grill (I poured the remaining marinade over
steaks) and discard marinade. Grill 7-8 Minutes, turning once, until only a
little pink remains in the thickest part of the steak (I cooked mine a
little longer). Serve with lime slices or wedges and a touch of sesame oil
if desired. Posted to EAT-L Digest by Amy Smalley
