We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Loving God requires a loving God. We will be passionate for Him only so far as He is passionate for us. To love God as we were made to love Him requires an antecedent love in God for those whom He has made. He must take the initiative. He must reveal the depths and extent of His commitment to us and the delight in His heart for broken people. Only then will our slumbering and self-centered souls be aroused to seek Him with all our hearts and relish the revelation of Himself in the person of His Son, the man Christ Jesus.
Sam Storms

The greatest of all the temptations that assail a preacher is pride. Pride, because he is set up there almost on a pedestal. He is standing in a pulpit, he is above the people, all of whom are looking to him. He has this leading place in the Church, in the community; and so his greatest temptation is that of pride. Pride is probably the deadliest and the most subtle of all sins, and it can assume many forms; but as long as one realizes this all is well.

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Grains, Eggs Cakes, Frostings 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

Few grains of salt
1/2 c Guava jelly
1 Egg white

INSTRUCTIONS

An electric mixer is best for this. Beat egg white until foamy. Add
salt and one teaspoon of the jelly at a time until it is thick enough
to spread. This is as good as any seven minute frosting that I have
ever eaten. It takes just about seven minutes of beating to get to
the right consistency.
