The fundamental problem in the evangelical world today is not inadequate technique, insufficient organization, or antiquated music and those who want to squander the church’s resources bandaging these scratches will do nothing to staunch the flow of blood that is spilling from its wounds. The fundamental problem in the evangelical world today is that God rests too inconsequentially upon the church. His truth is too distant, His grace too ordinary, His judgment too benign, His gospel too easy, and His Christ is too common.

INGREDIENTS

3/4 c Cold Water
1 Env Gelatin Powder
1/2 c Orange Juice
1 ts Orange Peel; grated
1/4 c Lemon Juice
1 ts Lemon Peel; grated
3/4 c Honey
10 oz Ham Cubes; cooked

INSTRUCTIONS

In a small, microwave-safe bowl, combine water and gelatin; allow to soften
for 5 minutes. Cook on high for 1 to 2 minutes or until mixture boils and
gelatin is completely dissolved.
In a food processor fitted with a metal blade, combine hot gelatin mixture
and remaininng ingredients. Process untill all ingreds. are pureed. Pour
into a 3-cup mold or decorative bowl. Chill until firm. Serve with hot
bisquits, crusty rolls or assorted crackers. Garnish with chopped fresh
mint and additional grated orange and lemon peels.
Makes 2 1/2 cups.
