Over the years, I became aware of what seemed to be an emerging pattern in the relationship between income and attendance. It appeared that for a significant percentage of churches, one could take the average attendance and by adding three zeros, come up with a very close approximation of the annual income.

Steamed Fresh Noodles

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c Fresh noodles
1 tb Peanut oil

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place noodles in a colander. Add oil and toss. Spread noodles out.
2. Place colander in a pot containing several inches of boiling water.
Cover pot and steam 10 to 15 minutes (see "How-to Section"). Let cool. Use
in any noodle recipe. VARIATIONS:
1. For the peanut oil, substitute 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
2. For the colander, substitute a flat tray. Place on a rack over boiling
water and steam as in step 2.
