Sugared Cranberries

INGREDIENTS

4 c Fresh cranberries
3/4 c Sugar (up to 1)

INSTRUCTIONS

>From the Fannie Farmer Cookbook
Spread the cranberries in a large skillet. Sprinkle with sugar to taste and
place over medium heat. Cook, shaking and stirring, for about 8 minutes, or
until the sugar has melted and a few of the cranberries have popped. Pour
into a serving dish. As the cranberries cool, the sauce thickens.
