We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Far graver is it to corrupt the faith that is the life of the soul than to counterfeit the money that sustains temporal life.
Thomas Aquinas

On January 12, 1723, I made a solemn dedication of myself to God, and wrote it down; giving up myself, and all that I had to God; to be for the future, in no respect, my own; to act as one that had no right to be himself, in any respect. And solemnly vowed to take God for my whole portion and felicity; looking on nothing else, as any part of my happiness, nor acting as if it were; and His law for the constant rule of my obedience: engaging to fight against the world, the flesh and the devil, to the end of my life.

Prepare cake mix according to directions on the box. Melt caramels in a
double boiler with butter and condensed milk till the consistency of honey
(or close).
Pour 2/3 of the cake batter into a greased and floured 9x13 pan (with high
sides). Top with caramel mixture. Pour the rest of the cake batter over the
caramel mixture and top with chocolate chips and chopped walnuts. Bake in
350 degree (F) oven for 30-35 minutes. I'm guessing at the temperature and
time, so you may need to keep a close eye on this while baking to avoid
overcooking.
Sorry about all the guesstimates, but it has been a long time since I have
made this and I can't find the recipe. Sorry.
This is very rich and guaranteed to harden arteries on contact, so enjoy!
