We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Now, a wise God designs no clashing between his domestic and political and his church institutions. He has ordained that the man shall be head in the family, thus it would be a confusion full of mischief to make the woman head in the church. But we have seen that the right of public teaching must involve the right of spiritual rule. The woman who has a right to preach, if there be any such, ought also claim to be a ruling elder. How would it work to have husband and wife, ruler and subject, change places as often as they passed from the home to the church? We see that this amount of switching roles would result in little short of absolute anarchy.
Robert Dabney

We need to use common sense in regard to memory and tradition. Neither will happen unless there is a disciplined resolve to do something about it. Our human, sinful tendency is to forget God’s benefits. And if we make no disciplined effort, we will not fully celebrate God’s goodness (Kent and Barbara Hughes).

1 c Water
1/4 t Thyme, crumbled
1/4 c Uncooked quick grits
8 oz Shredded cheddar
2 Eggs, beaten
ds Garlic salt
1/4 t Salt
1 lb Sausage, cooked
1/2 c Milk

INSTRUCTIONS

This is a recipe for people who think they don't like grits! It makes
a great "Make Ahead" breakfast-brunch meal. Anyone I have ever served
it to has asked for second helpings. (Even non-lovers of grits) Cook
and crumble sausage; drain well. Prepare grits according to pkg.
Remove pan from heat. Add cheese to pan and stir until melted. Combine
eggs, milk, thyme and garlic salt in small bowl. Mix well. Add a small
amount of the hot grits/cheese mixture into the egg mixture and blend.
Pour the remainder of the grits mixture into it. Add cooked sausage
and stir well. Spray Pam inside a 12x8x2 inch baking dish. Pour
mixture into baking dish. Cover. Refrigerate overnight. Remove from
refrigerator and let stand 15 minutes at room temperature. Then bake
at 350 degrees uncovered for 50 minutes or until firm enough to eat.
