We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

If God did not want us to understand His sovereign saving purposes, He would not have given such extensive instruction in His Word. “Therefore,” says Calvin, “We must guard against depriving believers of anything disclosed about predestination in Scripture, lest we seem either wickedly to defraud them of the blessing of their God or to accuse and scoff at the Holy Spirit for having published what it is in any way profitable to suppress” (Institutes, III.21.3).

Bibletime 1.0 review

Bibletime 1.0 review

Andreas “Dre” Pour provides a review of Bibletime 1.0:

Last weekend I set aside some time to review Bibletime, which has just reached its first stable release after a long period of development. Bibletime is a Bible study program based on SWORD. Sword is a library which
provides functions for searching the Bible, bookmarking, viewing Bible text, commentary and lexicon modules and writing personal comments, but lacks a GUI (which Bibletime provides). I should note at the outset that
I have never used a Bible-study program before. Nevertheless, after using the program for just a short time I appreciated what a great and useful program it is for those who read or study the Judaeo-Christian
scriptures.
