Braised Haddock In Sauce

INGREDIENTS

2 Dried haddock
1/2 Onion
4 T Soy sauce
1 T Sugar
2 t Minced green onion
1 t Minced garlic
2 t Red pepper threads
1/4 t Pepper
1 t Sesame seed powder
2 t Sesame oil
2 t Rice wine
1 T Corn oil

INSTRUCTIONS

(1)  Cut dried haddock into pieces 1-1/2 inches long. (2) Mix soy
sauce, sugar, minced green onion, mioced garlic, red pepper threads,
pepper, sesame seed powder, sesame oil and rice wine to make  seasoning
sauce. (3) Shred onion thinly. (4) Place shredded onion in  bottom of
pan and add small amount of seasoning sauce. Place dried  haddock
pieces in pan, sprinkling both sides of each piece with  sauce. (5) Add
corn oil and 3 tablespoons water to (4), cover with  lid, and simmer
about 20 minutes until seasoning sauce is well  blended and haddock is
cooked. by Jong Joung Lee Variations: Red  pepper paste can be added to
seasoning sauce. Hot green pepper can be  used in cooking fish pieces
Cut hot green pepper in half lengthwise  and simmer with fish pieces in
