We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Many of those whose task it is to broker the truth of God to the people of God in the churches have now redefined the pastoral task such that theology has become an embarrassing encumbrance or a matter of which they have little knowledge; and many in the Church have now turned in upon themselves and substituted for the knowledge of God a search for the knowledge of self.
David Wells

How should we repent when rightly rebuked? In four ways: 1. “I was wrong.” Plain, honest, no evasions. 2. “I am sorry.” Brokenhearted, realizing the damage done. 3. “It won’t happen again.” Rebuilding trust for the future. 4. “Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?” Performing deeds in keeping with repentance (Acts 26:20; Matthew 3:8).

Gods Word Final Authority

Gods Word Final Authority GOD’S WORD — FINAL AUTHORITY GLORIA COPELAND

Making God’s word Final authority is believing what the word says instead of believing people, Satan or Circumstances. What God says settles the issues of life as far as you are concerned. You believe that you are what God says you are. You believe that you can do what God says that you can do. You know that you have what God says is yours. He is the authority in your life. Whatever God says to you in His Word, you will do. You have confidence in your Father that He will perform for you all that He says.

Determine in your heart that God’s word is to your advantage and that you will act on His word in Faith, knowing that He is the God of love. The word will ONLY become alive to you as you accept it as truth and ACT upon it. Fearlessly commit yourself to the authority of God’s word. Make up your mind to walk by Faith and not by sight. Be ready to act on God’s word even when common sense says to do something else. Common means ordinary. God’s Word gets you out of the ordinary and puts you into the supernatural realm of God’s Power! Making God’s word final authority does not limit your life but makes all things possible to you.

The scripture tell us of our God. “He is the Rock, His Work is perfect; for all His ways are Law and Justice, a God of faithfullness, without breach or deviation, just and right is He” (Deut. 32:4, Amplified Bible). A God of faithfullness without breach or deviation! What an assurance it is to have this in a day when men’s hearts are failing them because of fear.

The world’s order of things is unsure and indefinate. Desperate words of uncertainty are crying out daily from radio, television, newspapers. Even though to the natural eye everything around us seems to be in turmoil, God has provided us with the power to take authority over all these situations. The Jesus generation wants authority. The “Now” generation has rebelled against the world’s double standard. “Because this is the way the Joneses do it” does not mean anything to them. They don’t care what the Joneses are doing. They just want something to depend on that will relieve the pressures of life.

God says “I am the Lord, I change Not”(Mal. 3:6) In the authority of God’s word there is certainty. The young people are flocking to hear the authority of the word. They quickly realize that God has NO Double standard. The word does not say one thing today and something else tomorrow.

Jesus Christ, The same yesterday, Today and forever, is a message they are ready to hear. For the first time in their lives many are finding that the Rock of the Word of God is the fail-safe in this Hour. The word does not comprimise before them and neither do the Christians who have made God’s word final authority.

They refuse the social religion that they have been handed in the name of the Lord. Who could Blame them!!! It is full of holes and does not work when you need it. For the most part it has been tradition and more talk, with little action and few results. What God says changes things. The Word Works.

Psalm 112:6-8 says “SURELY HE SHALL NOT BE MOVED FOR EVER: THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE IN EVERLASTING REMEMBERANCE. HE SHALL NOT BE AFRAID OF EVIL TIDINGS:HIS HEART IS FIXED, TRUSTING IN THE LORD. HIS HEART IS ESTABLISHED, HE SHALL NOT BE AFRAID, UNTIL HE SEES HIS DESIRE UPON HIS ENEMIES.”

To any believer who puts God’s Word first place in his life, Psalm 112 can be his anthem of victory in this hour!!!
