God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

There is a great difference between realizing, 'On that Cross He was crucified for me,' and 'On that Cross I am crucified with Him.' The one aspect brings us deliverance from sin’s condemnation, the other from sin’s power (John Mantle).

Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) – or something better!

I have great admiration for Christians who promote doing Random Acts of Kindness for people they interact with. It can be a great witnessing opportunity. I put up a sticky note in my work cubicle to remind me to do the same.

But while driving home one day, it dawned on me that as Christians, “random acts of kindness” could be improved on. By having a personal relationship with God, and through the Holy Spirit, He can inspire us to reach out to people around us in a totally non-random act.

Being sensitive to God’s lead, we can take chaotic outreach and fit our actions to God’s plan!
