No man has a right to say, as some are in the habit of saying, “The Spirit tells me that such or such is the meaning of a passage.” How is he assured that it is the Holy Spirit, and not a spirit of delusion, except from the evidence that the interpretation is the legitimate meaning of the words?
Brown sugar (may use half honey; half brown sugar)

Egg; beaten
1/2
c
Whole wheat or unbleached flour
2 1/2
c
Apples; chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda, spices, salt and softened margarine;
mix well, slowly adding the sugar. Add egg and flour, blending thoroughly.
Fold in apples. Pour into a buttered pan or casserole; bake in a preheated
350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until the center is firm. Better if
pecans or walnuts are sprinkled over top before baking.
