And it helps fortify the believer’s trust in the Lord and reliance of His provision, even in the toughest times. No matter how choppy the seas become, a believer’s heart is buoyed by constant praise and gratefulness to the Lord.

Fat-free Fudge Brownies

Eggs Digest, Fatfree, Jan. 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Whole wheat flour
1/4 c Unbleached flour
1 c Sugar
1/4 t Salt
1/3 c Unsweetened applesauce
3 Egg whites or equivalent
1 t Vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine dry ingredients.  Combine wet ingredients.  Combine wet and
dry ingredients.  Pour into an 8x8 in pan sprayed lightly with
nonstick cooking spray.  Bake at 325 F. for 23-25 min., or just until
the edges are firm and the center is set.  (It took 30 min. in my
oven, but I live at 6000 ft.) COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE and cut into
