German Apple Cake-Mix

INGREDIENTS

1 c Bake it all mix
1 Egg
1/3 c Granulated sugar
1/4 c Milk
1/4 c Bake it all mix
1/4 c Brown sugar — packed
1 ts Ground cinnamon
3 c Sliced apples*

INSTRUCTIONS

*3 medium, pared and cored      Break egg into bowl; beat.  Blend in
granulated sugar and milk.  Add 1 cup Mix.  Beat until thoroughly mixed.
Pour batter into an 8-inch round cake pan, bottom rubbed with shortening.
Blend 1/4 cup Mix, brown sugar, and cinnamon.  Sprinkle half of mixture
over batter.  Arrange apple slices in rows on top.  Sprinkle remaining
mixture over apples.  Bake in a 350 F. oven about 40 minutes.  Serve warm
with cream or whipped cream.  Yield:  One 8-inch round cake
