We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The good Lord didn't create anything without a purpose, but mosquitoes and sand gnats come close.

INGREDIENTS

4 c Rolled grains (I use a mix of oat, rye, and wheat) (up to 5)
1 tb Wheat germ (up to 2)
1 tb Rice bran (up to 2)
1/2 c Crunchy peanut butter
1/2 c Syrup (I use pancake syrup) or honey or fruit syrup or maple syrup
Nuts
Dried Fruit

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat the peanut butter and syrup over a medium low flame and stir until
they are blended (it doesn't take but a few minutes). Pour over the rest of
the ingredients and spread out on a cookie sheet (that has sides). Bake at
350 degrees for 25-35 minutes, stiring halfway through. Sprinkle nuts over
for the last 5 minutes. Cool. Add dried fruit.
I've made variations using different syrups (even those syrups they have
for coffee), grains, cereals (such as puffed wheat and rice), nuts, dried
fruits. Posted to EAT-L Digest 01 Apr 97 by Roberta Bell
