If thankfulness does not move us to serve God, then we do not truly understand who our God is and what He has done in our behalf. Without gratitude for Christ’s sacrificial love, our duty will become nothing more than drudgery and our God nothing more than a dissatisfied boss.

Grape Pita Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c C seedless grapes
1/2 c Chopped pecans
1/2 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
8 oz Lowfat cream cheese; room temperature
2 tb Chopped fresh cilantro; or to taste
2 tb Lowfat mayonnaise
1/2 ts Grated orange peel
1/4 ts Ground cinnamon
4 sm Pita bread rounds; halved
Lettuce; optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend all ingredients except pita bread and lettuce; mix well. Divide and
spread mixture into pita pockets. Insert lettuce if desired. Makes 4
servings.
Nutritional Analysis Per Serving: 578 Cal., 19 g pro., 32 g fat (49.3% Cal.
from fat), 59 g carb., 4 g fiber, 59 mg chol., and 777 mg sodium.
