INGREDIENTS

2 c Semisweet chocolate chips
1 pk (6 oz) butterscotch chips
1 cn (5 oz) chow mein noodles (I used La Choy)

INSTRUCTIONS

Here's another recipe I found in Mother-in-law's collection. I made this
tonight to send to the college kids. Hey, this was really easy, and I liked
it. It's a bit sweet. It's probably one that all of you already have, but
it was a "newbie" for me.
1. Combine chocolate and butterscotch chips in top of double boiler.
2. Heat over hot water until melted, stirring occasionally. Remove from
heat. Stir in noodles. (They will break and crunch. That's all right...you
don't want the really long pieces anyway.)
3. Drop by rounded teaspoonsfuls onto waxed paper (I used foil). Let stand
until firm.
The quantity of this recipe depends on how big you decide to make the
haystacks.
***Again, this is a new recipe for me, so I'll let you know later how it
survived mailing...to Virginia Tech, University of Virginia, and William
and Mary.....Jez, I miss all the kids underfoot all the time!
