Cabbage, shredded (about 1/2 cabbage) |
INSTRUCTIONS
Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onion and caraway seed. Cook 5 minutes
or until onion is tender. Add water, vinegar, salt and hot sauce, and mix
well. Then add the cabbage and mix well again. Cover and let simmer about
15 minutes, or until the cabbage is crisp-tender.
NOTES:
* A spicy warm slaw, this came originally from our local newspaper. We
enjoy it a lot. Yield: serves 4-6.
