Macadamia Cheese Puffs

INGREDIENTS

1 c Buttermilk biscuit mix
1 c Finely chopped unsalted macadamia nuts
1 c ( 4 oz.) shredded Gruyere cheese
1/2 c Butter or margarine,softened
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 ts Ground white pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375°F.  In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients; stir
until a soft dough forms.  Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking
sheet.  Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are light brown. cool on pan 2
minutes.  Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight
container.  Yield: about 6 dozen cheese puffs. Typed in MMFormat by
