Mom’s (Calhoun) Spaghetti Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1 lg Onion; sliced
4 lg Garlic cloves; crushed
1 lb Ground beef
14 1/2 oz Stewed tomatoes
14 oz Italian sauce; save jar-or use
; can of spaghetti
; sauce
Garlic salt
Oregano
Mint
Parsley; dried
Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Brown meat. Add garlic salt and then onion and garlic. Stir. Add stewed
tomatoes and spaghetti sauce. Stir. Add oregano, mint, parsley, and pepper.
Mix. Then fill 1/2 of jar w/ water and add to sauce. Add more water if
needed later. Cook on high until bubbling. Turn down to low heat and cook
for at least an hour.
