CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Meats, Dairy 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

4 Boneless pork chops
1 tb Butter
3 c Milk
1 c Cheese, grated
4 tb Cornstarch
4 c Potatoes, sliced as for scalloped potatoes (up to 5)

INSTRUCTIONS

Preboil the potatoes. Brown the pork chops. While they are browning, make
the sauce (butter, milk, cheese, cornstarch) in a saucepan. Stir until hot
and bubbly and smooth. I use a whip. Put the sliced cooked potatoes into a
greased casserole dish (I use Pam). Pour sauce over the top, then lay pork
chops on top of that. Season to your taste. I like Lawry's Seasoned Salt.
Bake at 350 deg F. I cover with tin foil for about 20 minutes until
everything is good and hot, then I take the cover off for about 10 minutes.
To be honest with you, I add more than one cup of cheese, hubby likes it
really creamy and juicy. Posted to bakery-shoppe digest V1 Number 034 by

A Message from our Provider:

“A spirit of thankfulness is one of the most distinctive marks of a Christian whose heart is attuned to the Lord. Thank God in the midst of trials and every persecution. #Billy Graham”
