Thankfulness to God is a recognition that God in His goodness and faithfulness has provided for us and cared for us, both physically and spiritually. It is a recognition that we are totally dependent upon Him; that all that we are and have comes from God.

Grains Moroccan Passover 8 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Pitted dates, chopped
1 1/2 c Sweet red Passover wine
1 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 ts Ground cloves
1 c Walnuts, coarsely chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Put the dates in a pan with the wine and seasonings and simmer until the
mixture resembles a soft paste, about 30 to 40 minutes, stirring
occasionally. Cool. Add the walnuts and serve.
