Narsai’s Asparagus Sauce

INGREDIENTS

4 Green onions; minced
1 Lemon; zest and juice
1/3 c Extra virgin olive oil
2 Oranges
1/2 Jalapeno chile pepper; minced
6 Sprigs basil or mint; chopped
1 lb Asparagus; steamed

INSTRUCTIONS

CITRUS: 1 lemon: grate the peel, zest only; squeeze for juice. 2 oranges:
grated zest; peel and finely dice the sections.
Mix all ingredients together and use over a bunch of asparagus to feed 4 to
6.
