Pat’s Broccoli/cauliflower Salad

INGREDIENTS

2 Heads Broccoli – tips; only, washed and dried with paper toweling
1 Head cauliflower – ditto
1/2 lb Bacon; friend, crisped, and crumbled OR 1 whole jar of REAL, (Hormel) bacon bits
1 c Sharp cheddar cheese; grated, or more
2 tb Apple cider vinegar
1/2 c Sugar
1 c Mayonnaise

INSTRUCTIONS

~ MAKE AHEAD 24 HOURS Serves 4 to 6 (unless you're like me, and want the
whole bowl to yourself)
Combine all ingredients and place in an airtight container. Refrigerate,
shaking the container occasionally to mix the contents, and stir it up good
a couple of times, too - for a minimum of 24 hours. It must have this
amount of time for flavors to properly develop.
