Picnic Taco Nachos

INGREDIENTS

5 c Tortilla chips
1 cn (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed drained and mashed
1 cn (4 oz.) chopped mild green chilies, drained
2 ts Taco seasoning mix
2 Roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped
2 md Green onions, sliced
(2 tablespoons)
2 c Finely shredded Colby-Jack cheese ( 8 oz.)

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat coals or gas grill.  Spray 30 x 18 inch piece of heavy-duty aluminum
foil with cooking spray.  Spread tortilla chips on foil. Mix beans, chilies
and taco seasoning mix; spoon evenly over tortilla chips. Top with tomatoes
and onions.  Sprinkle with cheese.
Wrap foil securely around tortilla chips.  Cover and grill foil packet,
seam side up, 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until
cheese is melted.  Yield: 4 servings  Typed in MMFormat by
