We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

INGREDIENTS

7 sl White bread
1 c Sugar
1 Stick margarine
4 Eggs
1 cn (20 oz) crushed pineapple in pineapple juice

INSTRUCTIONS

I just got this recipe from my friend Judi today and made it for Shabbes.
Sneaked a bite, and it's as yummy as was promised. It's not strictly
"Chanukah," but certainly fattening enough to qualify.
Trim the crust off the bread and cube. Melt the margarine, add sugar, eggs,
drained pineapple. Add the bread and mix well. Pour into a greased (spray
is fine) 9 X 9 pan and bake for one hour or until golden.
NOTE: I used 2 eggs, 4 whites. I also halved the margarine and used 1/2 cup
applesauce instead. Next time I will use even less margarine, I don't think
it will make a difference. It is easy and delicious. Enjoy. Shabbat Shalom,
Elaine
