Pinto Bean with Ham

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Dried pinto beans
5 1/2 c Water
1 lg Onion, chopped
1/4 lb Cooked ham, chopped
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 tb Chili powder
1 ts Salt
1 ts Pepper
1/4 ts Dried oregano
1/4 ts Ground cumin

INSTRUCTIONS

Sort and wash beans; place in a 5 quart slow cooker. Stir in 5 1/2 cups
water and remaining ingredients.
Cook, covered on Low 10 hours, stirring twice.  Yield 10 servings. Typed in
