Name: Quick Wisconsin Chili
Ingredients: 5 c Water; 1 c Uncooked elbow macaroni; 15 oz Fatfree organic tomato soup; 15 oz Kidney beans; drained and rinsed; 14 1/2 oz Chopped tomatoes; 1/2 c Chopped onion; 1/2 c Chopped green bell pepper; 2 ts Chili powder; Black pepper; to taste

Churches whose spiritual and historical roots are in the Reformation period of the sixteenth century have edifices for worship that are simple and seemingly empty. Apart from pulpit, pews, a baptismal font or baptistry, and a communion table, the building is empty. True, but on the pulpit in full view of any worshiper is the open Bible. The people worship God by receiving and responding to the proclamation of the Word. They worship not the Word but God who is addressing them through the Scriptures.

Because we understand our worth as image-bearers and our identity as children of God, we will not look to the Internet to prove that we are important, valuable, and loved. And because we accept the presence of indwelling sin, we will not be blind to the potential idolatries and temptations we can succumb to online. Quick Wisconsin Chili

INGREDIENTS

5	c	Water
1	c	Uncooked elbow macaroni
15	oz	Fatfree organic tomato soup
15	oz	Kidney beans; drained and rinsed
14 1/2	oz	Chopped tomatoes
1/2	c	Chopped onion
1/2	c	Chopped green bell pepper
2	ts	Chili powder
		Black pepper; to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Place the water in a large pot and bring to a boil. Add the macaroni and
cook for 5 minutes. ADd the remaining ingredients and cook for 20 minutes,
stirirng occasionally. Add more water if necessary to keep a thick soup
consistency.
