Raisin Ribbon Bars

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Butter or margarine; softened
2/3 c Brown sugar; firmly packed
1/2 c All purpose flour
1 1/2 c Oats
1 c Chopped walnuts
1 c Raisins
1/2 c Jam or jelly (any flavor)

INSTRUCTIONS

This is a recipe that my mom got from the back of a Diamond Walnut package.
She always made them around the Holidays. We loved them!
Heat oven to 375. Beat together butter and brown sugar Stir in flour, oats
& walnuts reserve 1 cup for topping. Press the remaining mixture into
lightly greased 8" square pan. Combine raisins and jam. Spread over the oat
mixture to within 1/2 inch of the edges. Sprinkle with reserved oat
mixture, press lightly. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 20 bars
