Roasted Baby Marrow With Cheese Crust

INGREDIENTS

1 T Olive oil
50 g Cream cheese, 2oz
25 g White breadcrumbs, 1oz
50 g Mature Cheddar cheese
grated 2oz
Salt and freshly ground
black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 180 C, 350 F, Gas Mark 4.  Trim each end of the
marrows, place on a baking tray, drizzle with  olive oil and bake for
45-50 minutes.  Slice the top off each marrow, lengthways, removing
only 5mm ( 1/4  inch).  Scoop out another 5mm ( 1/4 inch) of the flesh,
and spread each  marrow with the cream cheese.  Mix the breadcrumbs and
Cheddar cheese, spinkle on top of the cream  cheese and return to the
oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese and  breadcrumbs go golden and
