2 Cloves garlic; crushed
1/4 Lemon; juice of
4 tb Soy sauce
1 tb Pure maple syrup
1 tb Olive oil
1/4 ts Gourmet; (mai yen)

INSTRUCTIONS

Sate is a marinade for beef, pork, fish, fowl or vegetables which imparts
an exotic Far Eastern or Polynesian flavor while tenderizing the meat or
vegetable being prepared. Cut the meat and vegetables into manageable
pieces for marinating. (One inch or so cubes for meat). Combine all
ingredients in a bowl large enough to accommodate vegetables and meat.
Marinate the meat and/or vegetables for about 2 hours. Place on bamboo
skewers and barbecue over charcoal until done to taste. Sate' is a perfect
companion for chow mein.
