Savory Baked Fish

INGREDIENTS

1 c Bisquick® baking mix
1 c Wheat germ
1 c Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 t Garlic powder
1/2 c Butter or margarine, firm
1 Onion, thinly sliced &
Separated into rings
1/4 c Butter or margarine, melted
12 oz Individually frozen cod
fillets
1 T Lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven to 400F degrees.  Savory Crunch: Mix Bisquick, wheat germ,
Parmesan cheese and garlic  powder. Cut in firm butter thoroughly.
Spread in ungreased  rectangular pan, 13 X 9 X 2". Bake uncovered until
golden brown,  18-20 minutes. Stir with fork to crumble; cool. Store in
tightly  covered container in refrigerator. Makes about 3 1/2 cups
crunch.  Fish: Arrange onion rings in ungreased 8" square baking dish;
drizzle  with melted butter. Arrange fish on onions; drizzle with lemon
juice.  Sprinkle 1 CUP Savory Crunch evenly over fish. Bake uncovered,
at  400F degrees, until fish flakes easily with fork, about 30 minutes.
