Savoury Sardine Puffs

INGREDIENTS

2 120 g; (4.23oz) cans
; sardines, drained
4 Salad onions; chopped
1 tb Tomato puree
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/2 500 grams pa puff pastry; (1lb)
1 Egg; size 3, beaten

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mix together the sardines, onions, tomato puree and seasoning to taste.
2. Roll out the pastry into a 30cm (12 inch) square. Divide into 4 squares
then cut each square in half diagonally.
3. Divide the filling between each pastry triangle, brush the edges with
water and fold over. Knock back the edges to seal.
4. Place on a baking tray in a preheated oven 200 C, 400F, Gas Mark 6 for
15-20 minutes, until golden. Serve warm.
