Shepherd’s Pie Soup

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Ground beef
5 c Water
2 cn ( 10 1/2 oz.each) condensed beef broth
1 pk (16 oz.) frozen diced potatoes
1 pk (16 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
1 ts Onion powder
1 1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
2 c Instant mashed potato flakes

INSTRUCTIONS

In a soup pot, brown ground beef over medium-high heat; drain.  Add water,
beef broth, potatoes, vegetables, onion powder, salt and black pepper; mix
well.  Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 12 to 15
minutes, or until vegetables are tender.  Stir in potato flakes and cook 5
to 7 minutes, or until thickened.  Serve immediately. Makes 4 to 6 servings
