Shrimp Creole With Rice Wheat Germ Ring

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Chopped onion
1/2 c Diced green pepper
1/2 c Thinly sliced celery
1 Minced garlic clove
2 T Butter
2 1/4 c 18oz tomato juice
1 8oz tomato sauce
1 T Sugar
1 t Salt
1/2 t Crushed marjoram
1 T Cornstarch
2 T Water
1 1/2 lb Cooked shrimp, 3 cups
RICE WHEAT GERM RING

INSTRUCTIONS

Saute' onion, green pepper, celery & garlic in butter over low heat
until tender but not browned, about 15 minutes. Stir in tomato juice  &
sauce, sugar, salt & marjoram; heat thoroughly. Combine cornstarch  &
water, stir into tomato mixture & cook 3-5 minutes until thickened.
Stir in shrimp; heat mixture to serving temperature. Fill center of
Rice Wheat Germ Ring with shrimp & sauce; pour remaining sauce over
ring. Serve immediately.  File
