Skillet Barbecued Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS

1/2 ts Garlic powder
1/2 ts Powdered ginger
1/8 ts Pepper
4 1/2" thick pork loin chops or steaks
1 tb Oil
1/2 c Chili sauce or ketchup
1/4 c Soy sauce
2 tb Honey

INSTRUCTIONS

In small bowl, combine garlic, ginger and pepper; blend well. Sprinkle
mixture on both sides of pork chops (reserve any remaining garlic mixture).
Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add pork chops;
cook 2-3 minutes on each side or until browned and no longer pink. In small
bowl, combine chili sauce, soy sauce, honey and any remaining garlic powder
mixture; blend well. Pour over pork chops. Reduce heat to low; cover and
simmer 10-15 minutes or until pork chops are tender. If desired, serve with
hot cooked rice or potatoes.
