Sliced Oranges in Cinnamon Syrup

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Water
1/8 ts Ground Cinnamon
4 Navel Oranges; (Abt 2 Lbs)

INSTRUCTIONS

In a small, heavy-bottomed saucepan, bring sugar, water and cinnamon to a
boil over high heat. Boil until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is
clear. Continue cooking until slightly thickened, about 3 min more. Set
aside to cool.
Peel rind and pith from oranges and slice.
About 30 min before serving, arrange the slices on individual plates and
pour the syrup over them. Chill until ready to serve.
Work Time: 10 min Total Time: 45 min
This was very good. It was not nearly as sweet as I thought it would be.
Very quick and easy to prepare.
