Let Him therefore send and do what He will. By His grace, if we are His, we will face it, bow to it, accept it, and give thanks for it. God’s Providence is always executed in the ‘wisest manner’ possible. We are often unable to see and understand the reasons and causes for specific events in our lives, in the lives of others, or in the history of the world. But our lack of understanding does not prevent us from believing God.

1 lb Smoked mackerel flesh
3 oz Cream cheese
3 oz Butter
1 Tinned tonato
1 tb Lightly whipped cream
1 pn Black pepper
1 Dessertspoon lemon juice
1 ds Tabasco
1 lb Smoked mackerel flesh
3 oz Plain yoghurt
Black pepper
1 Dessertspoon lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS

WITH CREAM CHEESE
WITH YOGHURT
Blend all the ingredients together in a liquidiser or mix thoroughly. Mould
and chill. Serve with brown bread, hot buttered toast or savoury biscuits.

cheese and tomatoes. Serve it with a salad or spread on hot buttered toast.
