Sour Cream Noodle Bake

INGREDIENTS

8 oz Medium wide egg noodles
1 lb Lean beef
1 tb Butter
1 ts Salt
1/8 ts Black pepper
1/4 ts Garlic powder
8 oz Tomato sauce
1 c Cream style cottage cheese
1 c Dairy sour cream
1 c Chopped green onions
1 c Shredded cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

Cook noodles according to package directions. Rinse in cold water, drain.
Brown beef in butter over medium heat. Drain. Add salt and pepper, garlic
powder, and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 min. In a separate bowl, combine cottage
cheese, sour cream, green onions and cooked noodles. Alternate layers of
noodle mixture and meat mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole dish
beginning with noodles and ending with meat. Top with shredded cheese. Bake
in pre-heated 350 degree oven 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and
browned.
Notes: This was so easy to make and the kids loved it! Next time try cut up
cooked chicken or turkey. Also try omitting butter.
