Soy Sauce Chicken (lu Gee)

INGREDIENTS

10 Chicken drumsticks, up to

1 c Soy sauce
4 c Water
6 Ginger root, peeled
3 Stalks green onions, cut
into 2 inch slices

INSTRUCTIONS

Bring water and soy sauce to a boil, add ginger root and onions. Place
chicken in pot and make sure they are all well covered with liquid
(add more water if necessary). Cover and let boil/simmer for 15
minutes. Turn chicken and boil for another 15 minutes. Serve. Save
broth for noodles. Notes To make Soy Sauce Eggs, hard boil a bunch of
eggs in regular water. When they are done, peel the shells off and
prick the eggs all around with a fork. Set the eggs in the soy sauce
broth and simmer for about 20 minutes. Posted to recipelu-digest
